What is boudoir photography? It’s a relatively new genre of photography which sprang from women wanting to celebrate their bodies and beauty, often in beautiful underwear, whilst avoiding the erotic pin-up type of glamour photography.
Who books a boudoir photography session? All sorts of women of all ages each one wonderfully different in shape and size. Brides as a gift for their groom, expectant Mums, women after childbirth celebrating getting back into shape, women of any age celebrating new-found confidence. For many it’s a daunting prospect, but trust me it is a wonderfully fulfilling experience, a lot of fun and I promise you that you will feel completely at ease and confident in front of the camera. It’s a time when you can let your hair down, be proud of your body, and celebrate being the beautiful woman that you are. Of course you will want to look your most amazing, so I advise you to have a professional hair and make-up session beforehand. A boudoir photography shoot usually takes place at my house in Marlborough Wiltshire which has lovely flattering natural light, great furniture and accessories. With all these aspects in place plus some gentle guidance and direction from me, I will deliver stunning, elegant, and discreet boudoir photographs of you looking absolutely gorgeous.
